A group of Year 10 students were given the opportunity to visit the BBC to find out about it's work experience programme.
They were given tips for the application as well as learning about 'what makes a good candidate' for jobs, especially jobs in the BBC.
The students were given a tour of the BBC on Whiteladies Road and were shown the various departments where the programmes are made.
They were also given the opportunity to practise radio presenting as well as making a video recording of a 'Points West' programme.
They were able to use BBC equipment and were shown how to present, use an auto cue and sound effects.
