We are seeking an experienced teacher and enthusiastic leader to join our Science Faculty from Term 3 (Monday 22nd February). This post is being offered as a maternity cover and continues until the return of the postholder.

Pastoral Manager

We are seeking to appoint a permanent, full time Year 11 Pastoral Manager who has a passion for seeing young people thrive and achieve their full potential.

You will work with a year group (usually 185) students monitoring and following up on attendance, behaviour and wellbeing, liaising with parents/carers and professionals across the city. You must be a strong communicator, warm and understanding but firm and fair with teenagers (particularly your year group of 15 /16 year olds) and adults. You are a critical lead in safeguarding our students and identifying and delivering interventions to support their pastoral wellbeing. We can provide strong CPD, and opportunities to grow to become the best practitioner you can be.

Social, Emotional and Mental Health Manager (Job Share)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic SEMH Manager to work on a part-time, job-share basis.

We welcome applicants for this role who are experienced in planning and delivering interventions/initiatives for children/teenagers who need support with their social, emotional and mental health. You will be working within a busy school environment and will need to have high expectations of managing behaviour, alongside empathy, flexibility and high resilience. You will be creating resources based on well-researched approaches and monitoring their success. These resources could include programmes on taking responsibility for actions, moderating language, coping with change, building confidence, managing friendships, for example, and you would identify where there is a need to develop new programmes and modify current ones.

Data Administrator

We are looking to recruit a professional Data Administrator to play a key role in our business administration team. Your work will make an impact on the academic progress and exam outcomes of our students. 

You will work alongside staff to provide effective administration of the school’s Management Information System. You will ensure personal and academic data is accurate and complete at all times. The role will enable you to use your experience of data manipulation and high-level data input and output to ensure we have reliable and accessible data to inform our leadership teams.
