Open Events 2022
Orchard School Bristol – your exceptional local school!
Parents/Carers are warmly invited to visit Orchard School at one of our Open Events:
- Wednesday 28 September, 4 – 7pm - Open Evening
- Saturday 1 October, 10am – 1pm - Saturday Tours
If you have a child in Year 6 and you are in the catchment of Orchard School, please do make every effort to attend. Parents/Carers of Year 5 children are also encouraged to visit- it’s never too early to start thinking about the right secondary school for your child!

- Find out about our strong curriculum, excellent pastoral support and fantastic personal development opportunities
- Have a look at our green site with space for children to play, learn and have fun
- On Wednesday Open Evening you can explore subject areas, engage in subject-related activities, and talk to specialist staff and students in each Faculty. On Saturday, Faculty areas are open, but activities are more limited.
Come and see for yourself just how your local Horfield school has become an exceptional school with a seriously Good Ofsted report. We are over-subscribed and have been full in every year group with waiting lists for the last 4 years.
How do I book in?
There is no booking required. We just ask you to sign in at Reception when you arrive, and choose the time of the Headteacher’s Talk on Wednesday (5pm, 5.45pm or 6.45pm) where space is limited. There are no formal talks on Saturday.
If your child has special educational needs or you require specific accessibility support, please let us know when you’d like to attend (just call 0117 377 2000) so we can be ready to meet you with the right support in place.
