Clubs and Enrichment
We are proud of our enrichment and extra-curricular offers at Orchard School. We provide our students with equal access to a wide variety of activities, including residential trips, cultural visits, and the chance to meet, or hear from, engaging and inspiring speakers. These are the kinds of experiences and opportunities that students remember about their time at school and which foster their sense of belonging in the world.
Alongside our superb enrichment programme, which takes place during tutor time each term and which includes a wide variety of activities for students to choose from, we encourage students to participate in our high-quality extra-curricular clubs and activities and to engage in a range of sports, performance and other exciting opportunities. They will learn to develop teamwork, leadership and tenacity as they go and prepare themselves with skills for their future workplaces.

After School Sports
Throughout the year we offer a wide variety of sporting opportunities both competitive and social. We are part of the Bristol Schools competitive leagues in a variety of traditional team games, new emerging sports, and festivals. Sessions run on our large school site with modern facilities, and expert staff. Our clubs are inclusive and an excellent way to take your first steps in a new activity or fine tune existing skills, we want students to develop socially and nurture their wellbeing through physical activity. Our competitive fixtures are played home and away as well as hosting events for the North Bristol region this gives our students the opportunity to organise, lead and officiate competitions.
We have excellent relationships with sports clubs in our community and actively encourage our students to participate beyond the school, this has led to students competing in county and national competitions.
