Prospective Parents

Welcome to Orchard School Bristol!

We are delighted that you are considering sending your children to us at Orchard School Bristol. We offer a supportive learning environment where we aim to develop your child academically, socially and emotionally.
If you have any questions or would like to visit our school please call or email us on 0117 3772000
or Alternatively, visit our FAQ page - hopefully it will be able to answer some of the questions you might have.

We aim to make the transition between primary and secondary school as easy as possible for our Year 6 students and provide a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.
Our Transition Leader, Mr Keeling-Burton, will visit your child at school, arrange induction days and depending which school your child is at, will visit for parent coffee mornings, parents evenings and assemblies. This all aims to make the process of starting at Orchard School and settling in as easy as possible.
You can read more about transition, here

Family atmosphere

At Orchard School we don’t leave our Year 7s to look after themselves. Our tutor groups have students of all ages in them. This means each Year 7 has a whole team of big brothers and sisters to help him or her in those important early days. From day one we are building a family atmosphere in which our senior students are looking after our youngest.
