City farmers' sessions
Published on 24/05/17
St Werburghs City Farm is offering the chance for young people to help with the running of its farm, including feeding the animals and other daily responsibilities.
There are six sessions in total on 17th, 18th and 24th June, and 1st, 8th and 15th July, and are open to children aged 6-18 years old. Each session costs £1.
The sessions for 6-11 year olds run from 8.45am - 12pm, and sessions for 12-18 year olds run from 2pm - 5pm. The younger group will help to open the farm, and the older group will help with closing. Both groups will also feed the animals and help with other daily responsibilities involved in city farm life.
These young people will also be invited to a farm tour and homemade pizzas in the cob ovens on Wednesday 31st May.
If you would like take part in these sessions, please contact our SEN (Special Educational Needs) coordinator, Vic Allan on firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 0117 377 2000.
