Year 7 historians were taken on a reward trip to the ss Great Britain to celebrate their hard work in Humanities over the year.

They had a look around the museum and had a guided tour of the dry dock. It was incredibly hot and the pupils were superb ambassadors for the school.

They learnt about life aboard for sailors and passengers travelling in the 19th Century, and also learnt some interesting facts too - did you know that the ss Great Britain carried 1000 live animals?!
