Orchard has affiliated itself with the University of the West of England to become part of the Children’s University scheme.
This allows students to register and hold their own passport, which looks very similar to an EU passport.
Students, from Years 7 to 9, can earn stamps through taking part in learning activities with registered organisations out of school hours.
Year 10s also earn stamps through helping to facilitate workshops.
Once sufficient stamps are collected students will attend a graduation ceremony at Bristol Cathedral.
The Children’s University aims to encourage take up of all the wonderful opportunities to discover themselves and the world around them.
