Students who had taken part in the classical studies enrichment classes earlier in the year visited the Roman Corinium museum in Cirencester.

They were challenged to carry out an investigation into the lives of four people who had lived in Cirencester more than 1600 years ago.

Through examining replicas of the everyday objects, owned by these people, and decoding the Latin inscriptions taken from their tombstones, OSB's classicists were able to form a detailed understanding of what life was like for their individuals.

Ellie Boyd, Lewis Bullock, Michael Loffler and Ayanleh Said duly brought our discoveries to life when they were transformed into these ancient citizens of Provencia Britannia, complete with togas and sandals!
