Year 9 pupils had the opportunity to work with staff from the BBC last week, where they took part in a range of media workshops.

The visit was part of the BBC Talent Ticket Roadshow, which encourages young people to consider media careers by offering work experience and other learning opportunities to secondary school students.

Workshops included animation, news, production, sport, dance and make-up.

At the end of the day the students had a celebration assembly where they had chance to see some of their work and were nominated for awards from the workshop leaders.

The students had a fantastic day and really impressed the BBC staff who were working with them.

Don't worry - it's only make-up!
