Students in Year 11 have been awarded for their outstanding artwork, which was exhibited at Bristol Cathedral.
Isabella Lawson won the award for 'best in school' with her stunning self portrait, Illwaad Marsal’s recycled paper sculptural dress was highly commended and Maria Palominos and Phoebe Bravery were awarded special merits for their striking work in sculpture.
The Senior Schools' Art Exhibition, which ran from 9th - 21st February, showcased artwork from students across the city and was viewed by hundreds of visitors to the cathedral each day.
The work was judged by a collective of local artists called the Bristol Savages - a society concerned with the pursuit of the Fine Arts, Painting, Music, Poetry, other Performing Arts and Good Fellowship.
We were delighted to learn that we were one of the school to have the most prize winners!
The event culminated in a special prize-giving ceremony on 21st February where prizes were awarded to students with the best artwork from each school.
