Hobbies and interests of some of our students were put in the spotlight this week, as part of the Wider World project which aims to inspire young minds.

With the help of mentors from Clifton College, Year 7s created a number of exciting projects - based on their shared interests - which were then exhibited in Orchard School's main hall on 30th November.

Through taking part in the project, students have built up their resilience, as well as developed skills in leadership, and team work.

Parents and staff attended the exhibition which offered a number of fun activities, including learning about dinosaurs; penalty shootout; sharing hobbies on the tree of interest; musical performances; and watching homemade erupting volcanos.

Wider World is a Bristol not-for-profit charity, which helps children develop mindset and character strengths through stimulating enrichment experiences.
