Last week saw another outstanding victory for our Year 9 rugby players, as they beat Cotham 45-7.

The result was achieved despite us only having 14 players against their full squad and four substitutes.

The boys worked extra hard to cover the missing fullback.

Connor Passco picked the ball up from the back of the ruck and broke down the blindside in the first minute to score from well inside his own half.

Commendations went to Jake Baker, who scored a hat-trick, Frank Godfree, who showed intelligent running and Reece Oliver who scored with great power.

Most valuable player (MVP) went to Steen Maxwell, who had 'such amazing control and vision'.

Captain's MVP went to Lewis Chant, for supporting the running player, clearing out and never missing a tackle.
