University students aren't the only ones graduating this summer.

Pupils from Orchard School donned gowns and mortarboards for their very own ceremony at Bristol Cathedral on 10th July - thanks to an affiliate scheme with UWE.

Orchard teamed up with the university to provide the Children's University programme, which encourages pupils, from Years 7 to 10, to take part in and facilitate learning activities outside of school hours.

The project allows children to take up fantastic opportunities to not only discover themselves, but the world around them.

Students collected stamps for each activity they took part in, which were displayed in their own passport - which looks similar to an EU passport.

Twenty pupils, in Years 7 to 9, graduated through the scheme, with 14 Year 10s graduating as volunteers.
