An Introduction to iPads is a free course run by David Kingston, and will introduce you to the wonderful iPad, show you how to set it up to suit your needs and get the most out of the many features on offer.
An Introduction to iPads is a free, four-week course run by David Kingston, and will introduce you to the wonderful iPad, show you how to set it up to suit your needs and get the most out of the many features on offer.
It will run every Friday throughout June, including 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th,10 am to 12 pm at The Vassall Centre, Gill Avenue, Fishponds BS16 2QQ.
The course will cover:
•An introduction to the iPad.
•Personal settings to suit your needs.
•Useful ‘apps’ including features for disabled people.
The course is free for all disabled people (including long-term health conditions), over 55s and carers.
The Work Club is wheelchair accessible and there is a range of assistive technology, such as screen magnifiers and large-print keyboards. If there is any other equipment you need just ask and they will provide support wherever possible. New to computers? There is 1:1 support to help you.
